Variety of gardens is endless. Manicured, formal or rustic, spiritual or practical, historic , classical or modern. Some structured by geometry with axis linking different garden ornaments or structures, framed with hedges, others of the nature where everything runs wild.
Obviously herb and vegetable gardens are one of the most ancient of all types of gardens. They are practical gardens but let us not underestimate their aestetic potential. They can occur simultaneously formal and wild or geometrical and rustic but will allways remain annual ones.
